It's extremely frustrating having the need to change a setting only to be asked for a photo and failing over and over again. Why? No other banking app that I have used has ever verified this way. I had this experience myself, and it was really disappointing. On top of that, if you ever want to raise a complaint or get support, it takes ages because their working hours don’t match the UK. You have to send several emails and make multiple calls before you finally get any results. Other cards like Monzo or Revolut are much easier to use and have no fees. I closed my account!

I only switched to Monzo a couple of months ago, and honestly, I am completely blown away! Monzo is miles ahead of my old bank - Santander. The app is incredibly intuitive and fast. Everything just makes sense. The biggest game-changer for me has been the Pots feature. Being able to instantly separate money for bills, savings, and spending has finally given me complete control over my finances.

So after opening the App the Bank froze the account and deleted all of my personal banking. After two days trying to get hold of our near invisible bank they decided to freeze our account when I opened the App. The reason was because I used it straight away. So be very careful. You will be very lucky if you are able to access your money.

Just not responding. Tried checking for updates and reinstalling, but nothing seems to work. I can conduct any basic banking online at the moment. NEW EDIT: Just discovered I'm only allowed this app on 3 devices. What If I need access on more than that? They want me to go through the drawn out process of phoning the call centre. It's just unnecessary.

I closed my NatWest bank accounts a few years ago because of problems with online banking, now I’m forced back in because I want to keep my nectar credit card. What a performance, customer number, password and two different pins just to get registered, then the iPhone app only shows my own card, not other users. Push notifications should have continued automatically, but they stopped working, and that was really a great feature of Sainsbury’s. No doubt I’ll get used to it, but first impressions are that NatWest has not improved from the mess it was years ago, and is nowhere near as good as other banks’ online services. It’s a FAIL from me.
