When I opened my account, I was told I would receive the AED 1,000 welcome pack after 3 months of salary credit. I clearly informed the employee that my first salary would be half, as I joined my job in the middle of the month. I was assured that it wouldn’t be an issue.

Now, after 4 months of regular salary credit, I’m being told I’m not eligible for the welcome offer. This is extremely frustrating and feels dishonest. I trusted the bank’s word, and now it seems like they just make promises to get you to open an account, with no intention of honoring them.

Be careful and make sure to get everything in writing if you’re dealing with their offers. Very disappointing experience.

Even doesn’t show balance whether it is in plus or minus. You transfer money into your account, and you’ll not come to know where does your money go. And when you want to close your account because of too much problems, their customer care will not attend you to talk about. And Mashreq Bank app will not let you proceed to close your account by making different excuses & whenever you request for closing account, session will expire automatically….. perhaps cheating by default.
I’ll not recommend anyone to open acount with them. Save your money & time…totally tension & tension.
